When you have a Vietnamese grandma, chances are you have a CD Walkman somewhere in the vicinity to listen to all your Vietnamese CDs. iPods and MP3's ain't got nothing on the old time Vietnamese rock n' roll. Emmy likes listening to her library loaned CDs too.

Attack of the Killer 'Matoes

Here's a pic I uploaded shortly before we left. This is how serious Emmy's tomato addiction has become. She eats them like apples.

Speaking of which, we are finding pretty much everything we could want here in Vietnam. Even apples, which were much harder to come by last time I was here. Toilet paper is much more abundant as well.

Krispy Baby

Remember how I told you Asian parents don't seem too restrictive on the violent movies or junk food?

Apparently Asian grandparents have completely lost all control of sensible foods.

Emmy's first box of Krispy Kreme donuts just showed up one day. Not one or four, but TWELVE. 

Too much, too soon? I mean it's not like we're at epic childhood obesity levels or anything. Oh, wait.

P.S. She is not wearing circle lenses.
