Half Moon Bay
Sorry for the light posting this past week. The NTSB, DC, SFO, TSA, 9/11, PMS, wait I don't have that last one; I worked for 12 straight days last week because we have a couple of special shows coming up for the San Bruno explosion anniversary and the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. White Grandpa has worked for about 1820 straight days over the past 5 years or so, so trust me, I'm not complaining. I just wasn't blobbing.
But things are getting back on track this week and we even had a chance to do a little Bay-tripping. We went up to Half Moon Bay to see our friends and take Emmy to a "cold beach." And the underlying bonus reason: so I could satisfy my lobster roll/clam chowder craving at Sam's Chowder House. Fully Satisfied. Thank God they have a mobile truck because in addition to my kimchi quesadilla, I need a weekly cup o' chowder and I never met a cooked lobster and carb combo I didn't like.
Anyway back to HMB:
The first family shot we've taken in a long, long while. Even longer if you count the furry ones. Thanks Matt for a nicely composed shot. And thank you Romeo, for still being alive and not in a diabetic coma.
The prize for everyone looking into the camera at once photo goes to me for this shot. If only I had photoshopping skillz, I could superimpose myself holding Tofu into the space between my husband and Matt. You win some, you lose some I guess.
P.S. Jan, is that a 6 month old baby under your hoodie, or are you just happy to see us?
Happy Labor Day. Cheers to taking a day off, or at least not going into labor.
