Hawaii 5-0 Part 2

Keiki Beach really lived up to its name as the kid beach. So calm, sandy, and perfect for these little keikis. If only I could remember Odessa's swimsuit. She didn't mind being nekkid though.

This was the day Emmy decided to leave her floatie behind for one last foray into the water before we left. "I don't need a floatie. I can swim like a fish!" One of my favorite photos of her ever.

Emmy and cousin J in a lava tube with a skylight to the...sky. Hawaiians used to use these caves for shelter.

We went back to Mauna Lani resort and found the rock where The Good Doctor dropped to one knee on a fateful March evening in 2006. 7 years later we added major baggage. Two little baggages.

The craziest starfish ever.

It moved! "Whoaaa."

Humpback whale season in Hawaii. Spotted this calf flipping all around off the coast of Kua Beach. So neat to see it from shore when you're just boogie boarding. Or in my case, watching Odessa while The Good Doctor got a little too confident and went out to where the really tan guys were catching waves. He got a double wallop by two big waves that literally pounded the snot out of him. #salinesinusrinse

Self portrait. The reason I love tropical vacations the most. Sun, surf, sand and a hang loose vibe. The best way to relax and recharge. Already planning the next trip.
